Kroot vs dark Eldar trueborn Dracon, sybarite or Incubus and if he is an incubus than Skraat's doomed but i don't think he is one because he doesn't have a Klaive and I'm thinking that he is a Dracon eathar case this should be an intrestin fight.

/facepalm. Pyro, you're not getting it. It being the way people are writting in quotes without using quotes.
And I might as well say it now: big gratitude to Darius. The Durchii were a race I had originally written off as Eldar 'chapter' spin-off material only slightly different from the vanilla faction. Your comic's responsable for peaking my interest and finding a cool group I'd actually be inclined to collect and play with. Come to think of it, the same thing aplies to the Ttau themselves.
So, thanks for giving two very obscure races a shot in the arm to make them cool. :)
I'm pretty sure the author intenionally spelled it kroott instead of kroot as games workshop owns the rights to the word kroot and this it would be grounds for possible legal actions as they have tried to do in the past
Ok, i usually dont post this kind of info in the comments, but i will do an exception today.
The Kroott are a totally original race created by me based on the famous franchise "Predator". It looks like by chance, my original name just happened to be a little similar to the one of a race of brown skinny warriors of a strategic miniatures game, or something like that, but that`s just a coincidence. ;)
As you may or not know, the predator or "Yautja" race are a violent and very strong race of trophy hunters that have (allegedly) evolved from arboreal creatures.
For the Kroott, i changed them a little by giving them a little more avian-like looking as the "peak". I was wondering if giving them feathers would be cool, but it was too troublesome for drawing, so i gave them osseous and cartilaginous spikes instead. ;)
The background and the fluff is also greatly influenced by the Yautjas culture and the garou (from werewolf the apocalypse, the RPG) culture, and things such as clans, breeds, leader battles, honour, trophies and so drink directly from that fluff, of which im a great fan.
The way of talking of the kroott is a little difficult to explain. As they have no lips, i guessed the sounds would be more throat like, and any letter formed by the lips, such as the W, or the U would sound very different, like K and IE.
The muscles of the kroott are also quite similar to the yautja`s. Being arboreal criatures as they are, they can jump greatly by compressing those muscle fibers a second and releasing all that energy at once.
All that info and much more can be seen in the new comic of the shop, titled "Conqueror"
No, none of the races here are warhammer 40k races. The Ttau are not trademarked by gamesworkshop, and the Kroott are not trademarked by gamesworkshop, so precisely what races are you talking about?
