Do the Ttau have warp capability? Way back towards the beginning of the comic, I recall that their inability to get to Eryon in a timely manner was a bit of a plot point, but I suppose that could be a matter of range.

I'm just wondering what would happen if the gang returns to their homeworld in a rented ship full of tech that the Ttau would very much like to study.

Señor Turtle (Guest), November 14th, 2018, 4:55 pm

@minigendo: No, the Tau don't use any kind of warp technology, and canonically seem to lack the ability to fully understand it at all (almost every time they try to study it ends in failure if not outright disaster). They're the only race besides the Tyranids and Necrons that use actual faster-than-light travel, though their ships do it by riding the distortion waves caused by slingshotting their ships off the boundary between realspace and The Warp, while the Tyranids use some sort of gravity-manipulation nonsense and the Necrons utilize ancient technomagical bullshit to tell the laws of physics and relativity to sit down and shut up.

Well, Sarge...
One of you is covered in blood and carrying a baby, another only has one eye, and you're three meters tall with a zweihander.

I think that horse already left the barn.

I have no idea what's going on with the population dynamics of this city but I love it. Quite a bit more cosmopolitan than the usual battlemace 41m planets.

StarSword: For a planet where "SlavePoints" are accepted currency, that is a pretty normal "new in town" look.

Plus the sarge is about dawdling to increase the chance.
