Soma days ago, I had aproblem with a guy in a warhammer forum who was saying this sketch looked like "manga romance"

I asked him the reason, and he got angry and told that was his oppinion and i had to respect it. I anwered him that he had the right to say that, but he could say that "Las Meninas" of Velazquez was manga too if he wasnt going to give any reason. Then he called his friends and mods. I tried to reason with arguments, but finally i shut up and deleted all my pics from that forum.

Now, my question is clear. Do you think that pic can be considered "manga romance"?

While it may be a similar sort of pose to many manga make-out scenes, it really can't.
The guy was just an idiot.

Out of curiosity, what forum was it?
There are a lot of 40k forums which are just bad, community of idiots, moderators who don't give a shit, stuff like that.

I think...
Oooh, that hurt... who will be the next victim? A necron? Scary...
(Can it be me...?)

Well, it looks like manga to me too... but, what's the problem with it?

ergotoxin (Guest), May 5th, 2010, 4:01 pm

I wouldnt say its manga. It looks like western comics style to me and if there is manga influence in it it is only small. If he thinks every makeout scene has to be manga, he is clearly wrong.

Please tell us (or suggest us) what forum it was :P I hate this kind of pseudofascist behavior on forums.

I just have one question about the ''Great Devourer''. When our favorite TTau ''Shag'' with our favorite kkroot, he mention the great devourer. I've been a fan of warhammer and the only devourer I know come from the ogre of fantasy. The kkroot (I think) are like the ogre version of 40k, because of their tendancy to eat the corpse of their ennemy. But...Why the eldar? I'm confuse...I'm scared...Why the great devourer?*Tremble in fear in a dark corner looking around nervously*

Great work! your spelling on the english side could use some improvement, but no one is perfect.

I love your webcomic.. keep it up!

There is a great devourer in W40K too.
It is a name usually given to the Tyranids as a whole.
But I think Skraat and Aetherion are refering to something a bit more blue....

Hey can't go wrong with naked eldar chicks, even if they are covered with a sheet. I like the story so far.

Oh and don't let the chucklefucks on 4chan get to you when you post there, just keep on drawing.

Valgaav (Guest), May 7th, 2010, 2:14 pm

The good news is that Atherion is alive. The bad news is that he's probably scarred for life now. XD
