So, the previous post was a total success. What about this one?
What do you thing about girl gamers? Do you play with your female friends/ girlfriends? Would you? Would you even show them the door of the hobby? Are they better at gaming than males? worse? why?
I have definetly had female friends play me and kick my ass in console games. Im also a Dark heresy and Rogue Trader GM and the female gamer in my group is probably one of the more interesting characters in the game. At least thats what people who listen to my podcast seem to think. More female gamers in the world please.

Female Gamers are abundant... especially at conventions! Plus they tend to kick your ass...
I know lots of them, but they play for the visceral joy of it all, so they're not there for the game, they're there for the experience in having painted armies "battle" each other off. That said, I've never been defeated by a female, but have defeated several dozens in several games each (except at tournaments where I have yet to play against one).
In gaming terms, most of my female opponents lacked focus on the game and a strategy that has a reserve plan. It's usually a case of a nasty superunit that you have to kill before it reaches you, no subtlety or list synergy at all.
I have several female friends, and their tactics in gaming vary wildly. Friend of mine keeps kicking my ass in Battlefleet Gothic, a 40k starship game where you HAVE to think several moves ahead in order to win. I beat her once, and it was a pyrric victory at that.
Another friend of mine plays CoD with me, and we do equal amounts of ass whuppin with each other.
It depends on the girl in question rather than does their gender affect their game style.
